The reinforced T-socket fit is tight and there's zero twisting when I push the tube into place. Coating has held up through rain without a spot of rust so far.

After a windy week the tube still hasn't twisted at all, which tells me the T-socket connection is doing its job. The rust-resistant finish also held up nicely through rain.

Swapped this onto my reinforced T-socket frame and the twisting I used to get on windy days is basically gone now. The weatherproof coating has held up fine through a couple of rainstorms already.
