Compare the 15'x9' rectangle and 15' round Signature Series trampolines on space, jump style, and enclosure design so you can pick the right shape for your yard.
Quick answer
Choose the 15'x9' rectangle Signature Series if you want a wide, gym-style bounce and have a long, narrow yard; choose the 15' round Signature Series if you want even bounce in every direction and a compact footprint with the patented no-gap enclosure.
How shape changes the bounce and the play
A rectangle trampoline concentrates bounce along its long axis, which suits kids who like to run and tumble from end to end. A round trampoline spreads tension evenly, so every jump feels similar no matter where your child lands. That makes round a better default for mixed-age groups and casual bouncing, while rectangle rewards more deliberate, directional play.
Yard fit: long and narrow vs. square and central
The 15'x9' rectangle needs a long, clear run but leaves more open lawn on the sides, which works well against a fence line or along a driveway edge. The 15' round trampoline needs a roughly circular clear zone, so it suits a square backyard or a central lawn spot. Measure your actual clear space, not just the trampoline size, because both shapes need room around the enclosure for safe entry and exit.
Enclosure differences that affect daily use
The round model uses a patented no-gap enclosure system that eliminates pinch points, which is a real advantage if younger kids climb in and out often. The rectangle model includes an enclosure as well, but the catalog does not specify a no-gap design, so treat that as a limitation to confirm before buying if pinch-point safety is your top priority.
Trade-offs to weigh before you choose
- Bounce style vs. versatility: Rectangle gives a directional, gym-like bounce that rewards running and tumbling; round gives an even bounce in every direction that suits mixed ages and casual play. Match the shape to how your kids actually jump, not to how the trampoline looks.
- Yard footprint vs. clear space: The 15'x9' rectangle fits long, narrow clear runs but needs more length; the 15' round fits a square or central lawn but needs a wider clear circle. Measure the clear zone around the enclosure, not just the mat size, before ordering.
- Enclosure safety features vs. catalog detail: The round model lists a patented no-gap enclosure that eliminates pinch points; the rectangle model includes an enclosure but the catalog does not specify a no-gap design. If pinch-point safety is your priority, confirm the rectangle enclosure design before buying.
