Wasn't sure a little socket would make a difference, but the coating actually held up through a full rainy season on the trampoline. It's holding the leg and enclosure tight with zero wobble so far.

Snapped right onto the frame and the leg lined up without any wobble. The weather coating seems decent so far, though I'll have to see how it holds up after a full winter outside. Wish it came with a spare bolt, but the fit itself is solid.
