The coating on this socket actually held up through a rainy spring, no rust spots at all. It connects the frame to the legs and enclosure snugly, and the holes lined up without any drilling.

Fit the frame and leg holes exactly like the original, and the coating looks like it'll hold up better against rain than the old one did. Only gripe is that the mounting screws weren't included, so I had to reuse the old ones.
